皆さん、お待ちかね（願望）。活動15周年記念シングル連続リリース第二弾「swimmingman」をデジタルリリース。
ライブでは何度かアレンジを代えて披露済みのロックサウンドド”swimmingman”、なんとかマンとか、なんとかガールとかいうタイトルにしたら、ウケがいいのではと適当にタイトルをつけたというのは内緒です。元々、前半のつんのめったフレーズが気に入って、ギャップ加えて展開して最終的にradioheadみたいになったらええな（願望）と思って作った曲。
初披露は、広島でのソロライブで、途中の「あ〜あ〜」いうところを「皆様ご一緒に！」と無茶ブリして、オオコケした思い出深い曲です。その節は広島の皆様失礼しました。二度としませんのでご安心を。
"swimmingman" Sound / Lyrics
キツネの嫁入りは、2017年リリースの前作、4thALBUM「ある日気がつく同じ顔の奴ら」から、温め続けた新曲を、活動15周年を祝してシングル連続配信として公開。ライブでは何度か披露したことがあり、評判のロックサウンドが特徴の本曲。
ドラム伊藤拓史とSax北村信二が、ポイントで自由に暴れ回るサウンドは、キツネの嫁入り流「王道のロックサウンド」前半と後半のエッジの効いたアレンジと中盤のグロッケンだけのパートにコーラス・ストリングスが重なりスケールするサウンドは、70年代プログレ要素もあり、お馴染み、日常に見え隠れする影を引っ張り出す歌詞が突き刺さります。シェイカーのオーバーダブや、細かいピアノアレンジ、ボーカル多重録音と、何回も聞くうちに発見がある仕上がりは、ライブと違い、音源ならではのキツネの嫁入りが楽しめるます。ジャケットには、京都在住の写真家石川耕平氏の写真を起用。深そうで深くない水たまり、よくみたら、どこにでもある路地裏といった写真が本作とマッチする。掴めそうで掴めない、乗っかれそうで乗っかれない絶妙に疾走感あるサウンドをお楽しみください！
The sound of Drums and Sax rampaging freely at the points is a rock sound with a strange time signature that gives a feeling of running. The edgy arrangement of the first half and the second half and the quiet part of the middle part and the chorus strings overlap and scale, there is also a 70’s progressive element. The lyrics with the theme of shadows hidden in everyday life pierce the hearts of listeners. Shaker overdubs, fine piano arrangements, multiple vocal recordings, and arrangements that are discovered every time you listen, you can enjoy the sound unique to the sound source, unlike live performances. For the jacket, a photograph of Mr. Kohei Ishikawa, a photographer living in Kyoto, is appointed. The impression of a photograph of a puddle that seems to be deep but not deep, and a photograph of the back alleys that are everywhere, matches this work.
